July 20, 2009Old Hollywood Glamour was the theme for the gorgeous bride KaTrina. The groom David didn’t look to bad himself 🙂 What a great, low-key, intimate wedding this was! The ceremony took place in Central park, not too far off from Bow Bridge. We took some great shots in Central Park, finishing up in Times Square and then headed off to the party, which was on a gorgeous roof top balcony, with the DJ spinning awesome tunes for the next few hours. Great time! (More pics soon to follow)

June 19, 2009Yesterday, through wind and rain and rain, yet again, I had the honor of shooting Gareth & Hayley’s NYC Elopement. They are both from the UK and this was their first time in the Big Apple! What way to take a huge, memorable bite out of it right?! They were such a pleasure to work with and I felt like a kid in a candy store shooting them on their very special, intimate day. We didn’t let the rain stop us and drove around Manhattan in a beautiful stretch limo, just for the two of them and well me of course..lol.. who snapped some fun candids in there. It was tons of fun all in all and we capped it off by having delicious, chocolatey cocktails and wonderful conversations in at the Pegu Bar down on Houston St. for a few hours afterwards.. I snapped the last few shots of them getting into a NYC taxi and we waved good-bye..All in a days play.
Worthy Mentions: Gareth & Hayley had a fabulous wedding coordinator, Soraya Jollon from, SORAYA weddings & celebrations: www.sorayajollon.com. Boy, did she do an amazing job, pulling everything together and all. I also met a lovely make-up artist who did Hayley’s makeup, Laura Nadeau, owner of Lo & Co. www.loandco.com. The limo Driver, Joe D. from M&V Limousines Ltd. www.mvlimo.com , was such a doll. I sat in the front with him, navigating him to the photo-op locations I had in mind and he was terrific, especially through rush hour traffic..lol. The Library Hotel was where Hayley & Gareth were staying and where Hayley got ready on the day of. Their suite was gorgeous and she was telling me over cocktails how wonderful and accomodating the Library Hotel staff were, so I figured I would mention them: http://www.libraryhotel.com.

What a Wedding Season thus Far!
June 15, 2009What a fantastic wedding season it has been thus far! Since January, I have shot 22 weddings big & small, and still have around 30-35 more to shoot until 2010 . I’m so excited! In May alone, I travelled to Puerto Rico and then two weeks later to Miami Beach, both for weddings that I shot. I will be heading down to the Dominican Republic in about two weeks to shoot another wedding there and then off to Maine in August for an exciting wedding up there. So this photographer has been mobile! lol Also, I have been applying some new techniques to my current weddings, retiring some older ones and have been focusing on setting myself apart from the rest. I apologize for not updating my blog regularly, but will start doing so this month. I have hundreds of new wedding photos to share with you all and it’s amazing how many photos cross through my hands every day..like thousands…So it’s quite hard choosing what I should post on my blog when they are each so great..Hey, that’s nto a bad thing right?? I have also been working on a new look for my site and for my entire brand imagein general, that in itself has been a little challenging, but awesome at the same time. I am looking for that new perfect logo and new look that would definie me and what I do perfectly. Defintitely stay tuned for some exciting new and refreshing changes 🙂
